We’ve upgraded the exposure exhibits in My Portfolio and Client Portfolios to introduce a range of new functionality, such as:
- Six new exhibits
- Fixed income exposure
- Benchmarked exposure
- Pie and bar charts
- X-ray exposure for funds
- Portfolio contribution
This feature helps you understand how your investments are distributed across different asset classes, sectors, regions, and more. You can use it to:
- Analyze your portfolio: See a breakdown of your investments by security type, instrument type, asset allocation, sector, industry, region, country, and bond characteristics (credit quality and maturity).
- Identify risks and diversification opportunities: Easily spot areas where your portfolio might be over- or under-exposed, allowing you to make adjustments and manage risk effectively.
- Benchmark your portfolio: Compare your portfolio's exposures to a benchmark of your choice to track your progress and ensure your investments align with your target allocations.
- Drill down into the details: See which specific holdings contribute to each exposure category, helping you understand the drivers behind your portfolio's composition.
- Analyze the underlying exposure of funds: X-ray breaks out the exposure of the underlying securities in the US funds that you hold, and allows you to analyze the contribution from each fund to that exposure group.
How it Works
The Portfolio Exposures tool is available in the Exposure tab of your Client Portfolios and My Portfolio.
You can view your portfolio as a pie chart or compare it to a benchmark using a bar chart. For US funds, the tool provides an "X-ray" view, showing you the underlying exposures of the fund's holdings. You can also use the Holdings Contribution table to see the exact impact of each holding on your overall exposures.
For further information, see the functionality documentation for Portfolio Exposures.
Summary
The Portfolio Exposures tool is a powerful upgrade to Koyfin, providing you with the insights you need to build and manage a well-diversified portfolio.
Client Portfolios are available in the Advisor Pro plan and the benchmarked exposures are available in the Plus plan for My Portfolio
