v3.52: My Portfolio Account Filter
The account filter in My Portfolio allows you to view the context of your portfolio either as a single, aggregated portfolio or to drill down into individual accounts (e.g., Taxable, IRA, 401K).
This feature filters all the exhibits (exposure, holdings matrix, profit/loss, etc.) to be specific to the entity you have chosen to filter by.
How to Access the Account Filter
- Navigate to My Portfolio.
- Look for the Account Filter dropdown in the top-right corner, next to the News and Edit Portfolio buttons.
- Click the dropdown to select:
- All Accounts: View your portfolio as an aggregated whole.
- Individual Accounts: Focus on data and insights for a single account.
How the Account Filter Works
- Aggregated View:
- Selecting All Accounts provides an overview of your entire portfolio, combining all accounts into one.
- All data, including P/L, exposures, and analysis, will reflect this combined portfolio.
- Individual Account View:
- Selecting an individual account shows data specific to that account, such as holdings, exposures, and performance.
- For example, if you hold AAPL in both Account 1 and Account 2, the P/L for each account will only display AAPL's value specific to that account.
Plan Limits
The Account Filter is available for Plus, Pro and Advisor Pro users. Free users are limited to a single account.
